Hey y'all!  My name is Matt Abrams and I will be one of your Orientation Ambassadors for 2014.  I am going to be a junior in the fall majoring Accounting.  I hail from Olney, Maryland and can definitely relate to many of the unique challenges coming from out of state poses to incoming freshman.  I came in knowing very few people and really struggled in the beginning.  At times I questioned if I was cut out for college.  However through getting involved in many of Clemson's organizations I began making friends and found my place here at Clemson.  I am involved in Student Government, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and The Tiger (our school newspaper).  By staying positive I got through this challenging transition and grew so much as a person because of it. 



Starting college is tough for everyone but it truly rewarding.    You'll be calling Clemson home before you know it.  I can't wait to be your ambassador this summer and help you prepare for this incredible part of your life.
